Shwetha Chandrashekar conducted a workshop titled “Angel Investment 101 – Legal Thumbrules for Entrepreneurs & Investors”, for the benefit of startups operating at the Hive Collaborative Work Spaces in Bengaluru.
The key issues addressed during this workshop included:
(a) Legal aspects and best practices related to angel investing – both from an entrepreneur’s perspective as well as an investor’s perspective;
(b) Simplifying legal investment jargon commonly found in term sheets and investment agreements; and
(c) Outlining the rights and obligations of the investee company and the investor.
