Amrut Joshi conducted a workshop titled “Employment Laws for Startups”, for the benefit of members of TiE Bangalore.
Some of the main issues addressed during the workshop were:
(a) What are the main terms and conditions contained in an Employment Agreement;
(b) How to structure Consultancy Agreements;
(c) How to structure an Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP);
(d) How to factor in different central and state laws while structuring employment relationships; and
(e) How to ensure a smooth termination/disengagement from an employment relationship.
