Amrut Joshi conducted a workshop for the benefit of members of TiE Bangalore, titled “Angel Investment 101- Legal Thumb Rules for Entrepreneurs and Investors”.

His presentation explained

(a) Legal framework for angel investments in India;

(b) Characteristics associated with different instruments that may be issued to investors i.e. Equity Shares, Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares, Compulsorily Convertible Debentures;

(c) Different stages involved in an investment transaction; and

(d) Different documents executed at different stages of an investment transaction.
