As a Partner, Mahit has a multi-faceted role, simultaneously building the practice of GLA, while managing the day-to-day workflow of long-standing retainer clients of GLA.

Mahit has more than 9 years of post-qualification experience that spans multiple industries and practice areas. He has developed a robust corporate transactional practice by advising on private mergers and acquisitions and venture capital investment transactions in the sports, technology, education, healthcare and financial services industries.

In addition, Mahit has also served as the retained legal counsel for several reputed startups and multinational corporations, where he has been called upon to advise clients on all their legal and governance requirements. For the firm’s clients in the social enterprises sector, Mahit has advised on the structuring and incorporation of charitable trusts and Section 8 Companies, and in ensuring compliance with India’s regulatory framework on corporate social responsibility.

As a sports lawyer, he has helped structure player agreements, player representation agreements, sponsorship agreements and brand endorsement agreements.

Mahit graduated from the School of Law, Christ University in 2014.
