Dia Shetty joined GLA as an Associate in July 2022. She had previously interned with us in January 2022, when she had the opportunity to work on various research topics, including the legal framework for blockchain gaming, the legal regime for equity-based crowd funding for social enterprises in various jurisdictions, and the laws governing gig workers in various jurisdictions.
Since joining GLA, Dia has been assisting the team on various corporate and commercial advisory matters. Some of the Firm’s clients that she has assisted in advising include a US-based private equity fund on a strategic acquisition transaction in India, and an emerging manufacturer of rapid charging batteries in the EV space on various corporate and commercial legal requirements.
Dia aspires to develop her practice in the fields of Sports Law and Taxation Law.
