1. Background
1.1. The GameChanger Law Advisors website (gamechangerstg.wpengine.com) (“Website”) is owned and operated by GameChanger Law Advisors (“GLA”), a proprietary law firm, comprising of Advocates registered under the Advocates Act, 1961 and having its offices at (a) 304, Huligadri Renaissance Landmark, 10th Main, 17th Cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore-560 055; and (b) B-369, New Friends Colony, New Delhi-110 025.

1.2. This Privacy Policy covers: (i) the type of information collected from the users through the Website including sensitive personal data or information; (ii) the purpose, means and modes of usage of such information; and (iii) how and to whom such information which has been collected will be disclosed.

1.3. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, wherever the context so requires “You“, “Your” or “User” shall mean any natural person who uses the Website. The term “We”, “Us”, “Our” shall mean GLA and any authorised persons that perform any services on GLA’s behalf.

1.4. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. Any such modifications will become effective immediately upon posting to the Website and Your continued use of the Website constitutes Your agreement to such modifications. You agree to periodically review the current version of the Privacy Policy as posted on the Website

2. How the collected information will be used
2.1. Personally Identifiable Information: The Website is designed so that You may generally browse it without providing any Personally Identifiable Information (defined below). Certain areas of the Website, however, may require or allow the voluntarily submission of Personally Identifiable Information (for example, registration to receive GLA publications). GLA uses Your Personally Identifiable Information for the purposes for which it was submitted by You to GLA and for GLA to send You publications and invitations that may be of interest to You. Except as otherwise set forth in this Section 2, GLA does not share Your Personally Identifiable Information with third parties.

2.2. “Personally Identifiable Information” means information that would allow someone to identify or contact You, such as Your name, physical or electronic mail address, and telephone number; provided, however, that Personally Identifiable Information does not include aggregated information that, by itself, does not permit the identification of individual persons and does not include the Activity Information (defined below).

2.3. We may disclose certain information to third parties solely to help diagnose technical problems, to administer the Website, and improve the quality of the Services provided by Us.

2.4. We reserve the right to disclose any Personally Identifiable Information as required by applicable law and when we believe, at Our sole discretion that disclosure is necessary to protect Our rights, protect someone from injury and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Website. In the unlikely event that GLA needs to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries, GLA may, and You authorize GLA to, disclose any information about You to government officials as permitted by Applicable Law.

2.5. Removal of Personally Identifiable Information. GLA will use reasonable efforts to remove Your Personally Identifiable Information from our then current Website at any time upon Your written request to the Grievance Officer named in Clause 9 below. Such removal of Personally Identifiable Information will not ensure the permanent removal of such Personally Identifiable Information from the Website. For example, such Personally Identifiable Information may remain in GLA’s archival or backup copies of the Website.

3. Cookies
3.1. “Cookies” are small pieces of information stored on Your hard drive, not on the Website. You are always free to decline cookies if Your browser permits, but in that case, some portions of the Website may not operate properly. An “IP address” is a number that is automatically assigned to Your computer when You use the Internet.

3.2. The Website uses temporary Cookies, which are files that your web browser puts on your system when you visit a website, to store certain information that is not sensitive personal information. The information collected through these Cookies is used by GLA for internal purposes such as to administer the Website, improve the Website, and help GLA understand how the Website is being used including the demographics and “clickstreams” of its visitors.

5.1. The Website may contain links to other websites (“Linked Sites“). The Linked Sites are not under the control of the Website. We are not responsible for the content of any Linked Site, including, without limitation to, any link contained in a Linked Site, or any changes or updates to a Linked Site.

5.2. GLA does not intend the Linked Sites to be referrals to, endorsements of, or affiliations with the linked entities.

5.3. On accessing the Linked Sites, You shall be governed by the terms of use, privacy policy and such other additional policies of the Linked Sites. You further acknowledge and agree that GLA shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, advertising, products, services or other materials available on or through any Linked Sites or for any errors, defamatory content, libel, slander, omissions, falsehoods, obscene content, pornographic material, or any profanity contained therein.

6. Security Procedures
6.1. We have implemented industry standard security policies, rules and technical measures, to protect any kind of personal sensitive information that we have under our control from unauthorized access. You should know, however, that GLA cannot fully eliminate such risks.

7. Unsubscribe Option and Termination of Account by User
7.1. If the user wishes to unsubscribe from receiving non-essential (promotional, marketing-related) communications from us, after setting up an account, they may choose to do so by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link made available through the e-mail.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
8.1. This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India, without reference to conflict of laws principles. The courts in Bangalore, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any disputes arising in relation to, or under, these Terms of Use. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India and agree to waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over the parties by such courts.
